GENESIS

Kendriya Vidyalaya is a system of Central Government schools under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.

The year was 1962. It all started with a small group of 20 Regimental Schools which were subsequently christened as Central Schools. Three years later i.e. 1965, on 15th December Kendriya vidyalaya Sangathan (K.V.S.) was born. Since then the number of Kendriya Vidyalayas has been growing in leaps and bounds...
