Kendriya Vidyalaya (in Hindi : केन्द्रीय विद्यालय) is a system of Central Government schools under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.
The year was 1962. It all started with a small group of 20 Regimental Schools which were subsequently christened as Central Schools.
